This morning on the way out of RockRidge, saw that Uncle's mpv is not around.. knew that dear and his family had set off for flagstaff already. While i was listening to the sermon, i kept writing notes so i practically was writing during the whole sermon. Today's sermon is about looking to the reward in prayer.

Pastor Bruce kept highlighting to us that God is glorified when we look to him to supply our needs and that Jesus delights in giving us good things but He don't want "things" to have us. Our delight is to be in God and not in things. Created things that bless us are to be seen as gifts from God. To delight in anything and not in God is idolatry. We also have to wait on God to find our future partners, we can't do that on our own. To "wait" means to pause and soberly consider your own inadequacy and the Lord's all-sufficiency; then to seek our counsel and help from Him. Prayer is a constant reminder of our dependence on God. Prayer is also waiting on God. God is like a great doctor to us. When we go and see a doctor, we want the doctor to cure us. It's not that the doctor needs our help, it's the other way round. The same goes with God. God has no needs at all.

"Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me." (Psalm 50:15)

Call upon Me in the day of trouble : We depend on Him.
I will deliver you : He will help us and we get the joy.
You shall glorify Me : God is glorified.

After the sermon, we chatted abit with Aunt Isabelle.. she commented that the 3/4 grey pants that i bought from Target really suits me. *hehe* Thanks wor. I also like it very much. *smile*

After church, we went to Foothills for lunch. While eating, we saw Rachel and her family at the piano shop.. thought they are buying a piano but just heard from Rachel that she's thinking of signing up for piano lessons. Following that, we went to Walmart to do our weekly groceries shopping. Then on the way back home, daddy asked if i would like to drive on Linda Vista. He drove all the way to the dead end so as to confirm that the road is really straight. After he made a u-turn, he let me take over the wheels. Guess what? I drove bare-footed coz i was wearing high-heel shoes so can't drive while wearing them. Daddy's car is so huge that i can't even aim properly in the lane at first coz the double yellow lines on my left side is not touching the side of the windscreen.. maybe coz i adjusted the seat too front. So it's more difficult to aim. I can only estimate by making sure that i'm in the center of the lane. *hahah* I found out something good about daddy's car.. when i signal to turn left and after i turn, the signal will automatically turn off. Not bad wor.. no need for me to switch it back. *hahah*

Not long after i was home, dear called me and we chatted for a short while. Told me that he went to a chapel in Sedona, thought they went there to attend church service. *diao* He said they went there to take a look and they are going to Flagstaff. After we hung up, i went to make straw stars all the way till 10.45pm. Coz dear's online so stopped doing the stars. The bottle's going to be full soon, left with a few more stars to go. *hahah* Surprised right, dear? That's the bottle which you jumbled up the colors of the stars. I'm going to finish it by tonight. Fast right? *hahha* I was also surprised coz normally i would need at least 2 days to complete a bottle. Maybe coz i wanna distract myself from missing you bah. Tomorrow i'm going to occupy myself with scrapbooking stuffs. Will finish up the flagstaff pages first. Don't know if mum going out tml, if we are going out, then i can go and develop the photos that dear and me took last friday. Then can do up the scrapbook pages. If not, then never mind, can develop them later in the week.

Chatted with dear a little just now.. he went to take a bath already. Told me that he might be online later to do up his homework but he asked me to go to bed if i'm tired. After he log off just now, i dunno why but felt sad and kinda miss him already. *hahah* Sounds like i'm crazy right? Coz i just chatted with dear less than a minute ago and i can actually miss him. *hahah* Something is really not right with me. Ok bah, i'll end here for today and i'm going to read dear's blog.. then finish up the bottle.. then go and sleep. Good night and remember not to sleep too late dear, k? Coz u are still sick and i don't want you to be sicker. I wanna you to enjoy your trip and tell me stories about it when you are back. k? *wink*
